You can find Indian Hawthorn, Texas Sage, Camellias and Oleander (Flowering) among others. Boxwood and Lugustrium are evergreen. Shrubs work well for a variety of landscape uses. Not only do they provide seasonal color and some wonderful fragrances, but they provide year round greenery as well. They can serve as a function in your landscape plan as hedges for division or privacy. Most are drought and sun tolerant and some are great in the shade. There are varieties you can place that will provide some type of color each season of the year.
